Stacie Foster, Of Counsel

stacieStacie Foster brings nearly seventeen years of litigation experience to Invicta Law Group. She specializes in intellectual property litigation, employment counseling and litigation and complex commercial litigation. She has tried cases in State and Federal Courts, litigated intellectual property claims for copyright and trademark infringement, managed and litigated hundreds of anti-piracy cases in the satellite television industry, pursued a Copyright Act claim on behalf of a software developer, prosecuted trade secrets litigation, defended class action claims against a telecommunications company, and helped to successfully resolve a major corporate real estate dispute involving a national hotel chain.

Stacie’s clients appreciate the attention she gives to not only their legal needs, but their bottom line, with her recognition that a balanced approach to preventing or resolving legal disputes generally saves time and money. She works closely with her clients to ensure cost effective case management. “Although I enjoy the process of litigation”, she says, “I recognize that it’s expensive, and risky. My clients tell me that what they value most are my efforts to keep them out of the courtroom by early and judicious counseling, planning, and protection”.

Stacie worked as a lobbyist and regulatory specialist in Washington D.C. for both a trade association and a private energy company. Those years of communicating between the not -always -compatible interests of corporations and governments honed her skills as a negotiator. She uses those skills to attempt to see all sides of complex issues; essential for advising, supporting, and representing a broad range of clients.

Stacie is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Washington, as well as the Eastern and Western District Courts of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky, and the Southern District of Missouri. She has practiced before Federal District Courts in New York, Texas, and California as well.
